For UK schools and colleges
An AI chatbot for UK schools that answers parents from your own website.
Fewer repeat calls to the school office. Nothing invented.
Term dates, INSET days, uniform, admissions, absence reporting, the policies page — parents ask the same questions every year, usually in the evening. Kendri answers from the pages your office already publishes, and passes anything it can't answer to your staff.
The questions the school office repeats
All of it is already on your site. The problem is that nobody wants to look for it at 9pm.
Term dates and holidays
When term ends, when INSET days fall, when the next holiday starts. Kendri re-crawls automatically, so when the office updates the dates page, the answers move with it.
Admissions
Application windows, catchment and open evening details, answered from your admissions pages rather than from a general-purpose model's guesswork.
Policies and forms
Uniform, attendance, behaviour, absence reporting. Where a policy lives in a document rather than a page, a master admin can upload the PDF or DOCX and it is indexed too.
Evenings and weekends
The office is closed when most parents get round to asking. Kendri answers then, from the same content it would answer from on a Tuesday morning.
What your site doesn't say
Unanswered questions are recorded with the parent's own wording, so you can see what the site is missing instead of guessing.
One script tag
After you verify your domain you get a single script tag and an API key. Drop it into your site — no separate hosting, no integration project.
It answers from your content, or not at all
For a school, a confidently wrong answer about a policy is worse than no answer.
We index your pages
Add your website, prove you own it, and Kendri crawls and indexes the public pages. Nothing is copied by hand and nothing is written by us.
A parent asks in plain English
Retrieval finds the passages that genuinely relate to the question — the right part of the right page, not the whole site.
No source, no answer
If your pages don't support an answer, Kendri says it couldn't find one, offers to take an email address, and logs the question for your team.
Safeguarding messages are routed to staff
A pupil or parent may type something urgent into a chat box on your website.
Checked first, always
Every message is assessed for urgent welfare or safety content before anything is retrieved, and that check cannot be skipped by billing, quota or trial state.
Handed to a person
An urgent message is never answered from a web page. It goes straight to the staff you designate, in the words the sender used.
Said plainly in the widget
Visitors are told that an urgent message may be shared with designated staff, and that Kendri is not an emergency service.
This is automated and best-efforts only: it may miss a genuine concern or flag an ordinary message, and it is not a substitute for your own safeguarding or emergency procedures.
What it costs
Starter is £49 a month with 500 questions and one connected website — enough for most single schools. Growth is £149 a month with 2,000 questions and up to five websites, which suits a multi-academy trust. Scale is priced on your volume. Prices exclude any tax that may apply.
Seven days, no credit card, one website, with the widget on a page you choose.
